Be very cautious with the high altitude, sleeping at 4400m without proper acclimatization can be a torture. Descend if you have any AMS symptoms!

• route description:
- appart the high altitude this route is rather short and easy walk-up
- from Laurebina Yak the path leads steep upwards over a wide grassy ridge to chortens on a small summit (4140m)
- it's already visible from the lodges; 40 mins to 1 hour

way from Laurebina Yak to the chortens

part of the ascend between 4000m and 4150m

- it's just a few minutes of walk from the chortens to flat saddle (4165m)
- here a traverse of steep southern slopes of Cholangpati Danda ridge begins

first part of the traverse behind the saddle (4165m)

- the path climbs gently (apart few short steeper sections) up to a small col at 4380m
- from here the lodges above Gosainkund Lake are already at sight
- from the col one has to descend around 50 height meters

last part of the climb below Gosainkund Lake

- path then climbs gently to group of lodges (4420m) above the Gosainkund Lake
- in approx. 40 mins above the lodges is a view point (4590m)
– view towards Manaslu, Langtang Lirung, Himal Chuli or Ganesh Himal
